James Haire has been sculpting professionally for over thirty years. Growing up in the mid-west he attended Northern Illinois University where he earned a BFA in painting.  While attending college he became interested in bronze casting.  After moving to Colorado in 1981 he went to work for Art Castings in Loveland, Colorado.  While working there he began his sculpting career.  His sculptures can be found in many public settings throughout the country.

For Which It Stands is two children who are pledging the flag.
