Forget Me Not

Georgene McGonagle, Colorado

Georgene received her BS degree from Southern Methodist University, and after teaching Biology and Mathematics, she began a new career sculpting realistic children.  Recently, her sculptures have become more stylized.

Georgen’s sculptures are in public parks, schools, businesses and private collections throughout the US; in Denver, Coors Field, National Jewish Medical Center, Boys and Girls Club, American National Bank, and Children’s Hospital Ponzio Creative Arts therapy program.

Awards include Women Artists of the West, Allied Artists of America, Audubon Artists, American Women Artists and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, and a feature in the book, Sculpture of the Rockies.

A stylized African Elephant, noted by its large ears.
The piece has wonderful curves and sharp lines, causing many negatives, leaving it to the imagination
of the observer.
