24. Red Dot

After spending many years owning and operating a totally unrelated business, I am finally able to pursue my lifelong dream.  As a young boy most of my free time was consumed by drawing, model building and of course, daydreaming.  When I retired I opened an art studio and began to create contemporary metal furniture with a 21st Century art deco theme.  I soon discovered that furniture is limited to function while abstract metal sculpture has absolutely no limits.  All of my pieces are my original designs and built in-house myself. The primary material used is steel or stainless steel and aluminum with a variety of finishes featuring bright hues to subdued patinas.
