Waco Moon

Rollin Karg - Kansas

I have been working in glass for over thirty years. It was about ten years ago that I started with Public Art. It is incredibility satisfying for me to collaborate with city architects, engineers, and landscape architects to bring attention to specific sites. One of the things I like best about art sculptures is that it makes an impact on the people who see it. It is like a rocket full of our hopes, dreams, and history that shoots into the future for all generations to come.

Painted steel rods holds a black circle with a cut out moon. It is then enhanced with other painted steel elements and hand blown glass disks.
